"WHEN I WRITE about interest-rate sites, I generally mention Bankrate.com (www.bankrate.com) and Money-Rates.com (www.money-rates.com). But there's another site, ManagingMoney.com (www.managingmoney.com), whose scope is actually broader than that of the other two.

In addition to providing rates for savings accounts, CDs, loans, mortgages and insurance, it offers information on resources for other money-related items like legal forms for leases, personal finance and tax preparation, and investments. The site can be a good jumping-off spot, but double-check each financial institution's site to be sure the listed rate is current. (An interest-bearing instrument might be just the ticket right now.)"
