Baseball, NFL, NASCAR, and Poker Credit Cards?
If you have read any of our Blog posts before you will know that at ManagingMoney.com we consider Credit Cards to be a necessary evil. You need them to function in our cashless society but you have to be careful as the inappropriate use of credit is a recipe for going broke. Our mission is to help you Save Money and Make Money. Recently, we added a new category to our Credit Card Center, Sports Reward Credit Cards, that may be of interest if you are a fan of certain sports.
Most credit cards these days, as an incentive to use them, have some sort of Reward associated with them. If used properly, the Reward helps offset other costs and may also provide some unique benefits. We now have Sports Reward Credit Cards for Major League Baseball, the National Football League, NASCAR, Bass Pro Shops, and The World Series of Poker. We didn't know Poker was a sport but we were also surprised about Curling being in the Olympics.
Each card has its' own unique set of benefits. For example, with the Major League Baseball card Points can be redeemed towards field-level game tickets and autographed memorabilia. The NASCAR Points can be used for driver jackets, on-track driving experiences, and even access to the Red Carpet area on race day. And Poker Points can be used towards World Series of Poker buy-ins. Wow!
Now remember, rewards are nice but interest rates and fees are more relevant with credit cards. Surprisingly, all of these cards are given a high rating by our outside Editors for their competitiveness.
